Due to the nature of a data center project, it’s critical to know where your advisor’s fiduciary duty lies. Plante Moran Cresa solely represents its clients and never a landlord or building. This allows us to locate all the options that are aligned to our client’s requirements.

Data center space has to be able to accommodate a wide list of requirements including the ability to support conditioned, uninterruptible power systems, multiple HVAC systems with backups, fire suppression systems, and back-up generators. Security is also a key component. Having as much infrastructure in place is a key component to reducing costs.

Plante Moran Cresa was able to understand our client's requirements and identify all feasible options and successfully secure a lease of a previous data center with a heavy amount of infrastructure in place saving millions of dollars in capital expense.
