Plante Moran CRESA helps Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan make move from Southfield to Troy in an effort to help them find a more “peaceful environment” for patients
5/1/2009
TROY, Mich. – Thanks in part to Plante Moran CRESA (PMC), the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan (the Foundation) has found a new home. On June 1st, 2009, they will be moving from their current location at 29777 Telegraph rd. in Southfield, Michigan to Timberland Office Park in Troy, Michigan which is located on the corner of Crooks Rd. and Long Lake Rd.
This will be the Foundation’s third transaction with PMC. There were two driving forces behind their reason for moving:
- Cost – Since the Foundation is a non-profit organization currently undergoing a restructuring effort, budget was extremely important.
- Change of Environment – Moving from their Telegraph location to Timberland Office Park was important because it is located in a nature area and the Foundation felt it would provide a more peaceful environment for patients.
Plante Moran CRESA executed a comprehensive strategy to the Foundation’s long-term affordability and sustainability that included identifying and evaluating potential facility options.
