Independent real estate consulting firm Plante Moran Cresa (PMC) announces the addition of five new staff members. The variety of skills these new members bring will broaden and strengthen PMC’s multidisciplinary team, helping PMC to better serve its clients in a variety of industries.
Jeff Atkins, CCM, CPE, LEED AP, joins PMC as a senior associate of project management from Barton Malow Company in Southfield. As a project director at Barton Malow, Jeff acquired a wealth of project planning and project delivery knowledge by managing more than $450 million dollars in bond issue programs and leading projects for school districts throughout Michigan. Now at PMC, he will continue to utilize this program management expertise to help PMC’s public/educational clients realize their goals. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science in architecture from Lawrence Technological University.
Meagan Hill, JD, joins PMC an associate on the transaction management team as they grow to take on more corporate accounts. She has been a licensed attorney in the state of Michigan since 2008 and joins PMC from the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office, where she was an assistant prosecuting attorney. Meagan is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Michigan who holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in political science from Eastern Michigan University. She is a welcomed asset to the transaction management team.
John McCarroll, CPC, LEED AP, joins the project management team as a senior assoc¬iate with over 12 years of experience in managing healthcare, institutional, and government projects. At PMC, John will be working on the construction of the new Children’s Hospital of Michigan (part of the Detroit Medical Center) and various projects for Botsford Hospital, which recently combined with eight other hospitals to form Beaumont Health. Prior to joining PMC, John was president and co-founder of McCarroll Services, Inc., in Brighton, Mich. John holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management and an Associate in Applied Science in building construction technology, both from Ferris State University.
Jim Steiner is an accomplished project manager who has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He joins PMC as a senior associate of project management for PMC’s senior living division, Plante Moran Living Forward™. Jim most recently worked at Clark Construction Company in Southfield, but most of his career was spent at Skanska USA Building, Inc. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in construction engineering from Lawrence Technological University.
Carol Zinn, PhD, is a Sister of St. Joseph from Chestnut Hill, Penn., who joins PMC’s religious institutes practice as vice president of mission integration. Sister Carol has a wealth of experience helping congregations of religious as part a variety of organizations, and her role at PMC will be to help religious and not-for-profit clients strategically plan for their future. Sister Carol, who will work remotely from Philadelphia, Penn., joined PMC after the completion of her three-year term as president of Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR). She earned a Bachelor of Science in education from Chestnut Hill College, Penn.; a master's degree in theology from St. Bonaventure University, NY; and a doctorate in curriculum development and education foundations from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.
