Plante Moran CRESA engaged by Delta Dental for headquarters project

Michigan commercial real estate advisory firm, Plante Moran CRESA, announces that it has been engaged by Delta Dental to act as owner’s representative and facilitate project management for its’ headquarter expansion in Okemos, Michigan.

The $85-million building project will include a 35,000-square-foot addition to its 160,000-square-foot headquarters and the construction of a new 80,000-square-foot office building. In addition, a new 20,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art data center will be constructed. Delta Dental’s 57-acre campus will support a natural habitat complete with walking trails.

Delta Dental will seek a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Sustainable design features will include:


  • Recycled building materials and a maximization of natural lighting.
  • A green roof
  • A stormwater management system
  • Native Michigan plants and indigenous trees throughout the campus.

The project’s architect is Albert Kahn Associates, Inc. of Detroit.
