Catholic Parishes Federal Credit Union

Catholic Parishes Federal Credit Union (CPFCU) had outgrown its location in Livonia, Michigan and needed to align their space requirements with their business development needs. Plante Moran CRESA (PMC) was engaged to develop a strategy that would address their growth needs while giving them higher visibility in a community that would benefit their membership growth.

Challenges

CPFCU needed assistance finding the perfect location in a western community where its potential customer base was greatest. Locating a prime corner spot in an established community can often be a challenge.  Budget and economic considerations had to be closely monitored to keep the project on target.

Solutions

PMC assisted CPFCU by conducting an extensive site selection which led to a very visible location in Plymouth, Michigan. was being selected. PMC coordinated proper zoning and approvals as well as special land use for the location. PMC also worked with the client and Wayne County to meet their substantial infrastructure requirements including the possibility for future road widening and expansion.

PMC also advised CPFCU to utilize a design/build project delivery method based on the clients budget and time requirements.
