In his role as President and CEO of Plante Moran CRESA, Bill specializes in structuring, negotiating and executing real estate transactions. With particular expertise in national site selection, sale-leasebacks, development agreements, build-to-suit projects and municipal incentives, his clientele includes domestic and international manufacturing and headquarters for healthcare, life science and financial corporations.

Bill’s comprehensive understanding of real estate and development is equally matched by his ability to understand his client’s needs and business objectives. He is consistently recognized as a leader in the real estate consulting industry because of his ability to first analyze the business’s short and long term financial goals and growth objectives. Once defined, these drive transaction requirements and location decisions, and define incentives required for a favorable outcome. Bill’s service delivery has resulted in significant referrals and repeat business from existing clients and their counselors.

Bill is an extremely effective negotiator and client advocate. Having worked with clients whose needs ranged from single lease transactions to build-to-suit campuses for Fortune 100 companies, he brings a unique perspective that views real estate transactions as a strategic business decision. Bill’s engagements have resulted in real estate capital expenditures and transaction value exceeding $1 billion.

Bill graduated from Michigan State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and currently participates as a corporate member in CoreNet.
